ahh, so for my computer science class i have to download a UNIX server called puTTY and the website i was given to download it seems like it’s only for windows D: does anyone know anything about this and know where i can download a version for mac?

  1. magic-moremagic answered: If all you want is the ssh server, you don’t even need puTTY; OSX has sshd built in.
  2. versavis answered: my school uses fugu for mac users!
  3. cabbagebot answered: If you’re using a unix machine it’s more likely that you need to use openssh. Look up installing openssh on your OS.
  4. skyivories answered: ssh username@servername should work in Terminal
  5. fo07ang answered: If you’re using putty to SSH somewhere, you should be able to do it via the Terminal app (if you’re familiar with bash)
